I have been this congee shop several times. The food is ok. However the service is very poor, especially the lady boss. She often yells at customers. She is never patient to take order. If you wants to think for a while, she immediately shows "bad face". I saw her treating an old lady very bad. The old lady ordered a bowl of beef congee which was a discounted item that day. She later reminded the lady boss not to put spring onions in her beef congee with thousand eggs (she just mistook the name)

She later reminded the lady boss not to put spring onions in her beef congee with thousand eggs (she just mistook the name). The lady boss immediately yelled at her, "you ordered the discounted congee, which is beef congee, if you want beef congee with thousand eggs, that costs 20 dollars (? forgot the exact price). So which one do you want, the 12-dollar one or the 20-dollar one." She yelled so loud that the old lady didn't know how to react. In fact, as a by-stander in the next table already understood the old lady's request, that is "no spring onion". The lady boss seemed to think those coming to eat at her restaurant are begging for food at cheap prices. From then on, I never visit this restaurant, and very regret for once recommending it to my friends.

We go there because it is hard to find one nearby and to be honest the food not bad though a bit salty and oily. However, we are not going there to pay for bad services. I hope people stop visiting this restaurant to let the lady boss understand the importance of both food quality and service quality. No need to be so arrogant. Also, most important, do treat every customer nicely, let them take time to order, to enjoy the food, and to pay the bill. Also, have respect to the elderly, they might be a bit slow, but still they deserve your respect and good manners.
