Not the most glamorous place but they have the best fish congee in town. I used to come here quite often but not since I changed my job.Given this place is so busy everyday, the fish here is as fresh as it can be. I found the soy sauce this time was just plain salty and it didn’t taste like “soy sauce”. Wonder what cheap brand they have switched to. Kind of ruin the meal because it would have been nice to dip the fish with it.
The fried dough was kind of chewy.
On balance, I would still say it’s good place to have fish congee.
Ambience - very typical and local eatery with cramped tables.
Service - none as expected
