To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. For a salad lover working in central, it’s hard to fathom why this is only my very first time visiting kale 🤪 it’s very crowded here during lunch hr, but queue is killed off pretty quickly. Salad bowl here was not as green and light, but certainly a healthy salad choice for big eaters with excuses of not feeling full with salad. Cajun chicken + 1 salad + sweet potato fries | $98+$10
I just can’t resist the temptation of the crispy awesome looking sweet potato fries on others’ bowls, hence choosing this combo which is the most value for money. $10 was added to replace the preset quinoa salad to salad of my choosing (I chose beetroot instead). The salad portion is much bigger than I anticipated, and came with very very generous portion of hot cajun chicken and fries. The chicken was super flavorful and I LOVED their beetroot salad, those beetroot was just perfect, fresh and sweet with a bite to it. But the sweet potato fries were the showstopper! Crispy, and perfect balance of sweet and spice, they’re simply additive. No wonder it appeared in almost everyone’s order. Leaving happy with the deliciousness and a full stomach.
