It was our second visit to Yakitori 25 at Causeway Bay, and the quality of food remained impressive. They made us of binchotan for grilling, making the skewers beautifully charred with irresistible chargrilled aroma. As you can tell from its name, it specializes in yakitori (grilled chicken), where they serve chicken parts from beak to tail, including rare parts like chouchin. The chicken meat like the thighs and wings were all amazingly tender and juicy with crisped up skin, while the innards like the heart and gizzard were firm and chewy — all perfectly executed. We encored on their deep fried wings as they were infused with so much flavors even on the inside, with juices oozing out after every bite. Despite specializing in yakitori, the other kushiyakis were equally amazing. We recommend trying the pork mochi skewer, which they wrap a chewy mochi inside pieces of fatty pork. It was a very new and interesting combination. The entire experience was impressive!
💰around $400pp (VERY full)
