Order and waiting timeIt's Central and it's lunchtime, the queue can be quite long sometime before 1pm. So I always try to go there before 12:30pm. Service
The lady who takes the ordering ticket from you is always polite and smiling, the other staff serving food appear to be polite also, service is fast and efficient, unlike other Maxim's, Cafe de coral and the like I have seen elsewhere. I guess Central is the main reason behind.
The food....I can't wait
The rice is just TOO DAMN hot and tasty!!!!! Ok, well it exceeded my expectation from can.teen, the boneless chicken is also very thoughtful for gwai-lo's also. But for me it just saves me the hassle from chewing more carefully. The chicken itself isn't overcooked most of the time, but quality does vary from time to time (since I have eaten this dish many times now, so I noticed the difference ). The 3 sauces are typical ones you would get from this dish, I also like the pickled cucumber, it tastes just right, a bit sweet and a bit sour. But I do know some people do not like pickled things... so yeh...
Price
$72 might be considered a bit expensive by some people for this dish, but giving that it's in Central, and its taste (yes I am being biased) I would not mind paying this price for it.
Did I get a stomach-ache after this....
No... even if I would, it's worth it!!! j/k... I am definitely going to eat this again and again though.
$72
