Restaurant: Jashan Celebrating Indian Cuisine

To promote a new salt and sugar reduction (RSS) dietary culture and living style to the people of Hong Kong, the Environment and Ecology Bureau, the Committee on Reduction of Salt and Sugar in Food and the Centre for Food Safety of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department have launched the "Less-Salt-and-Sugar Restaurants Scheme" ("Scheme"). Restaurants participated in the Scheme will offer less salt or sugar options to the consumer or even tailor-make less salt or sugar dishes in designated restaurants. Participating restaurants will be granted with the Scheme Labels for displaying in the premises for public identification. 炸物有四款
Vegetable Cutlet 口感似咖哩炸薯餅,多了印度咖哩香料。
Assorted Pakora 類似平時日本餐廳食到的炸蔬菜餅,炸得相當香脆。
Fried fish,點上炸漿炸至金黃的的香口炸魚。
Chicken Tikka,鐵板燒雞,即是平時用鐵板上的乾炒香料咖哩雞,咖哩雞煮得相當入味。
熱葷和咖哩選擇不少,總共有六款

這是其中一款我最愛的印度食物,咖哩跟牛油調和,質地濃稠順滑,平衡了辛香料的刺激,不像一般想像的印度咖哩味道較嗆口。雞肉煮得入味嫩滑,微辣中帶香甜奶香,辣度溫和,即使是吃不了辣的也會覺得容易入口。
Corn Palak
在印度語(Hindi)中,Palak是菠菜,這道叻哩料理的基底就是大量的菠菜、洋蔥與番茄、薑、蒜和綠辣椒打成泥,再和粟米一起烹煮,菠菜泥咖哩煮得細緻軟滑。
Jeera Aloo
Jeera是香料 'CUMIN' 的印地語名稱,aloo 是土豆的意思。用上Jerra香料炒香的薯仔粒,簡單又美味。
Prawn Curry
彈牙鮮蝦配上椰汁咖喱,非常香滑,充滿椰香,這是一款甜咖喱。

最後甜品有三款
Gulab jamun 玫瑰糖奶球,有練奶的甜味,口感似糯米,煙韌,熱熱地又有點似食湯丸。
Mango Shrikhand 類似芒果布甸,新鮮的芒果和香料,提供一種清涼、甜美和爽口的口感。
新鮮西瓜。
