Sometimes, I crave for thoughtless indoor fun and Jumpin Gym U.S.A is the only place that comes to my mind. Once I discover Comic Park in Mega Box and finally I gave a try on a Friday evening. Comic Park is more than a park, also a café. The combination of indoor park and café is uncommon in Hong Kong and personally I like it a lot. Eat than play, or vice versa, chillaxing enough. My expectation that games would be over food is true. Dinner is available from 17:30 to 20:30 and the park opens til
Three of us took dinner first. I had set C: seafood pumpkin risotto with cheese, and lemonade ($68). Quality was slightly below average. The frozen seafood mix still carried the of taste refrigerator. Each plate was topped with a piece of mussel which the size varied a lot- obvious comparison. The best was the gentle pumpkin sauce. The average quality was actually expected because the park was the focus. Basically, Gashapon machines made the outside the Comic Park and Café. When you walk inside, you would see the cashier for coins exchange then shop then game area. Charged with energy, we immediately bought coins for the games. Among the varieties of attractions, we were most into claw machines for little Disney dolls and Happy Rainbow where you threw coins onto the rainbow without overlap. We must had used up our recent luck in that hour. With 200 coins, we won many gifts. Extremely lucky for earning the Tsum Tsum waffle maker which was available at the shop at $400. I would like to buy it but earn it from Happy Rainbow! (The cards from Happy Rainbow, for gifts exchange) (The gifts)
What a fun night and I would recommend Comic Park as a more affordable indoor playroom.
