阿土伯鹽水雞 (English name: Mr. Tuu) is located in D2 Place. Boyfriend and I were here for one of those D2 Place weekend markets, stopping here for a quick bite. Serving Taiwanese style hand shredded chicken and bubble tea, it seemed like there was minimal seating. But then I found there was a lot of tables in the back.Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English. There is no 10% service charge. Basically how it works is for $45, you get a single serving of hand shredded chicken and three toppings alon

Menu is in Chinese only. There is no English. There is no 10% service charge. Basically how it works is for $45, you get a single serving of hand shredded chicken and three toppings along with a choice of rice or noodles for an additional $7.
The toppings are all on display behind the cash register. You can either point at it or sit down and check off what you want on a piece of paper.
After you place your order, they will mix it all up for you. It's a cold dish. We ordered fish cakes, tofu and something they called sweet dumpling. Which was one flat item that looked like a fish cake but it tasted like mochi. It was interesting and I quite liked it. It also comes with some cabbage. You can select the amount of spiciness or not spicy at all. This was baby spicy and yeah ... was spicy for me but still I could eat it. But boyfriend said it was fine so if you can eat spicy food ... it's not that spicy. The chicken was very moist and tender. The sauce they used was pretty good but mostly tasted like sesame oil.
Overall, cheap and pretty delicious. Unsure if I'd be back but may if not sure what to eat in this area.
