Decided to try out this Japanese restaurant in the Bank of America tower for lunch the other day and it was a good decision! It's hard to find value for money meals in the Pacific Place area and although Hatsu is on the expensive side, the variety and portions you get in their lunch sets makes up for the price tag - and there's also a self-serve salad bar where you can get free refills! We ordered 2 lunch sets. The tonkatsu curry with rice and the chicken and scrambled egg with rice (oyakodon).

We ordered 2 lunch sets. The tonkatsu curry with rice and the chicken and scrambled egg with rice (oyakodon). The tonkatsu had an interesting texture and taste to it, didn't exactly hit the spot, but the curry sauce was aromatic and flavorful.

The chicken and scrambled egg with rice was not bad, chicken was a little bland but the portion was sizable, which made up for any lackluster taste.

There were other interesting set combinations that piqued our interest, so we'll be back to try more!
