Barbar is the newest Spanish tapas bar & resto in wanchai by pica pica group, so I believe it is guaranteed to be good. Turns out, everything was awesome, did not disappoint at all. I genuinely love everything we opted, the steak tartare added the oyster which I liked a lot, can taste the umami from the oyster, so different from other steak tartare. The suckling pig was so delicious, crispy outside and tender inside. The pigeon rice is so fragrant, must order. The beef rib was so soft, love the pumpkin purée.
The Spanish tortilla recommended by our server was so good! Super fluffy, the best I have tried so far.
Love love the Torrija from dessert! If u are a french toast lover, u should love this one too.
Actually everything was on point, except the octopus was not too special, other than that, I liked everything.
We were served by Ayame, she’s so friendly and attentive, appreciated with her hearty service.
Overall, I really had a great dining experience with Barbar, food was great, ambiance was nice, great service, and reasonable price, I would totally revisit and recommend to my fds.
