My family went for a birthday celebration tonight. We are very disppointed. First, they have this big crowd of 16 people talking and laughing EXTREMELY LOUDLY. I think it's better for them to go to a Chinese restaurant which they totally destroy the mood and atmosphere at dinner. Second, the food wasn't that good as expected. They serve bread, but the bread is super bad, not even toasted or heated. The pasta are serve in small portion and the main are not hot when they serve it. The servers are the worst. I tried to order food in English, they came over and asked if I can point to the menu which dish I want to order. It's weird right? Their menu are in english, don't they supposed to know.
We ordered a tasting menu to share. At the end, the restaurant didn't end up serving us the dessert and coffee/tea. Maybe we should have remembered ourselves, but don't they supposed to remind us? They are probably super overwhelmed with the big group of ladies having many requests and getting more hyper at the end from the wine.
It's just the combination of everything. Today's dinner wasn't a good experience at all. I can pay for a dinner at this price at a hotel restaurant ($650 per person without wine). I don't think I will ever go again.
