I was craving for an instant noodle stir fry, seeing this restaurant serves their instant noodle stir fry on a hot plate, I was hoping it might be incredibly flavourful.I ordered stir fry instant noodle with pork slices in XO sauce. Meal set included a bowl of soup and a hot drink. Soup was Cha Chaan Ting style tomato soup. It was more on a tomato tangy based instead of a fresh one. Moving on to the instant noodle stir fry, it was serving in a hot plate but not as sizzling as those hot plate meat slices dishes. Noodle was cooked perfectly el dante. However, sauce wasn't fully coat all the noodle. I was hoping for more on the spice side. Not too savoury but pretty oily as a stir fry noodle should be. Generous of fried egg was mixed in but only one pork slice was found. Preferably more onion can be mixed in to bring out more freshness in such strong flavour dish. The only one pork slice was still tender. It will be appreciated if serving more.
Overall, not bad but not the kind of instant noodle stir fry I was hoping for.
