Just the best quality of food of any buffet in the city with taste buds of all kinds being accommodated for in even distributions. Culinary expertise is not drowning every dish in oil to make it taste good. And that is known here. Then again if you want fatty food I can think of few places that provide you unlimited A5 Wagyu beef.
The decor and feeling is a bit odd when sitting outside but you'll soon forget it after starting to eat. The Peninsula is a bit small for a hotel so the space isn't the best but it doesn't ruin the experience. A buffet is not somewhere you hold a romantic event anyway.
