So on this on this Friday afternoon, I dragged boyfriend with me. Crossover event is from April 3 to June 30 from 2 PM to 6 PM, daily. No reservations allowed.

Fluffy House is a local design company that creates adorable characters based on clouds and raindrops. I've seen them around whenever I go to local design fairs. Apparently, they have also been featured in Taiwan and Korean toy fairs as well.

When boyfriend and I arrived, it was easy to get a table but was filled with mostly guys. I guess Fluffy House is popular amongst the guys? It seemed the whole cafe was decorated with the cute little characters, from their door to the walls to their windows.

They had the characters on display. There was also a corner where they sell items from coffee to the characters to photos.

For this event, a special menu has been created with adorable photos of the characters posing with the food. Items include cakes, quiches and drinks. The menu is cleverly designed to give a childlike love to it.

Miss Rainbow Cake ($88). This cake was not only beautiful to look at but tasted wonderful. It was moist and soft with a subtle vanilla flavor. There was also a cute little butter cookie as well that was buttery and crumbly.

Mr. Cloud Macaron with Vanilla Ice Cream ($88). As macaron's go, this was extreme fail as it was chewy didn't have the soft eggshell exterior. It was also hollow on the inside. As looks went, it was super cute. The macaron was sandwiched between a scoop of vanilla ice cream. The raspberry puree was ok.

Mr. Cloud, His Friends All Day Breakfast ($158). All day breakfast came with truffle smoked scrambled eggs, a fruit salad, roasted asparagus and carrots, mushrooms with potatoes, a sausage, bacon wrapped cherry tomatoes, salad and a slice of bread. All presented on a wooden board.

Truffle smoked scrambled eggs were presented under a glass bowl. Upon lifting it up, a waft of truffle smoke filled the air. The eggs were soft and fluffy. Truffle oil over powered everything.

Roasted carrots had a cute cut out of the characters. The roasted vegetables were ok though a bit under roasted. Could have done a bit more time roasting. There was a cute cherry tomato cut out to look like a rabbit. The kawaii bento creator in me appreciated that little detail and will try it out myself next time I make a bento for lunch.

The slice of bread had a pop up of Mr. Cloud. It was super adorable. The bread was tasted great. It was soft and fragrant. The potatoes had a cut out of the characters as well. I felt it was bit under cooked as it was still crunchy. The mushrooms were sauteed and tasted reall good with the herbs.

The sausage was a cheese sausage. Love cheese sausage. The salad greens were fresh but didn't have enough salad dressing. The bacon wrapped cherry tomatoes were a bit under cooked as the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the tomatoes weren't bursting with juices from being cooked. The fruit salad was nice and included dragon fruit, strawberries, pear and kiwi.

Fluffy Cappuccino ($50). This was adorable. There was also a cafe mocha or a hot chocolate for those that don't like chocolate. But for the chocolate ones, they only sprinkle a powdered stencil of the character. Only the cappuccino has the fluffy cloud on it. It came with a butter cookie. Coffee was ok. Nothing special. Just ok. But cute none the less.

Service was great. We had arrived a bit before 2 PM and they allowed us to sit inside and wait before tea time arrived. They even gave us water while we waited. Pretty nice. Food was really good. Usually when I go to theme type or cute restaurants, they sacrifice the food for cute whereby the food just tastes bad. But this was diffferent. Not only did it look good, it tasted good. Also, for a temporary pop up, the cafe went all out by decorating the whole place with the characters. That is also great as usually when I go to temporary pop ups, they just hang one picture and call it a pop up (ahem ... Wired Cafe). Good for them for going all out. A great effort for all! Will recommend it to friends who also love cute things like me!
