This was a surprise dinner for my best friend, the bride-to-be & we picked this renowned Japanese restaurant in town as the environment there is phenomenal.We don't have very high expectation @ Nobu since we understood that fusion food can't please everyone so we just focus on ordering something special...in special sauce they mix & match. Yuzu Miso-Toro - the taste was good yet I still prefer the ordinary Toro sashimi better Hot Miso chip set - Tuna & Scallop - delicious & different! Spicy Tu

Spicy Tuna Salad - too much sauce (though the sauce was very appetizing) which took away the fresh taste of the tuna & veggie
Unagi, Foie Gras & Cream Cheese Avocado Roll - initially, I am afraid that this HIGH cholesterol plate will be too heavy as a starter...surprisingly, it's very refreshing & the taste of each ingredient balanced in a perfect way
Eggplant Miso + Black Cod with pepper with balsamic teriyaki sauce - I love the Black cod, the texture, the taste, the smell, everything! Eggplant is so-so...miso sauce was very good!
Kagoshima Pork Loins - not tender...pretty chewy...disappointed
Banana Soy Toban Yaki - Shoyu caramelized banana, roasted pecan & malaga gelato - I just tried one slice coz I don't really like caramel. According to the other 2 ladies, this dessert was fabulous, they finished the whole thing in 2 seconds!!! BTW, this is a new addition to the dessert menu
Chocolate Bento box with green tea ice-cream - very safe to order this coz it is their signature dessert dish, LOVE it...really yum yum
