This hotpot restaurant is located in Mong Kok, a bit far from the usual busy and crowded area of the district, inside the Lodgewood by L'hotel. When I made the reservation the staff asked for my car number and arriving I can understand, as they only have a few parking spaces for the hotel so they would need to arrange and confirm the parking space in advance if you are driving there for dinner. The restaurant environment is nice, with a high-end premium tone on the decoration and setting, obvious
We ordered the Lobster Hot Pot Set, and the soup base was the Lobster Soup Duo, which essentially was half being tomato and the other half clear broth. Before we started to eat, the staff asked us to sample the soup and it was quite tasty.
The experience for me was one of quite pleasant, with good environment, nice and fresh food, as well as friendly services. I feel a bit sad to see not that many customers on the night, and the restaurant actually was offering a 25% discount for weekdays visit, obviously showing that they needed to lower the price to attract more customers. The bill on the night was $1195, with the above plus the fee for the condiments as well as three bottles of soft-drinks and a pot of tea. I wouldn't say it was cheap but still considering the overall it was fairly reasonable in price.
My overall rating is 68/100.
