Came here for lunch with the She Who Must be Obeyed, and our little princess. The environment was rather crowded, tried to fit as many as tables inside. The side of our table was actually blocked the chairs of the adjacent table, and my wife was stuck at her seat.
We ordered two set lunch, as we expected that our little princess could not finish her meal. She ordered spinach angel hair ($68) whereas I ordered cutlet pork chop with fresh fruit sald ($48). The set include dessert, soup and tea. The soup of the day was cream of mushroom.
The soup was great, creamy but yet not too heavy. Freshly prepared, not canned soup.
My salad came with two thin slices of fried pork chop. Tender and juicy. The fresh fruit salad contained mainly apple, which was good for my taste. However, I would prefer it serve a bit colder, as the temperature of the pork chop turned the salad into warn salad.
The angel hair of my little princess was great as well. Very creamy. My wife shared the angel hair with our little princess. My wife considered it too creamy and heavy. Little princess and my humble self considered it fine and just great for us.
Dessert was mango ice-cream. The waiter was very considerate. Seeing us 3 person sharing two sets, he gave an additional ice-cream to us free of charge.
In general the service is good but sometimes slow.
The next table ordered a hamburger. I did not check the price but the portion is so big that I am sure I cannot finish the whole by myself.
In general, the experience is good.
This little place also has happy hour offers between 2:30pm to 6:30pm. I don't think I would be able to come here for a pint or two during happy hour.
