We went to Si Simply Italian for a weekend brunch because the deal was fairly good for free flow at 158 for 2 hours for prosecco wine and orange juice. We were given an appetizer sampler which were 10 tiny dishes of Italian fare such as Parma ham with melon, sausage with tomato sauce, eggplant parmigiana etc. everything was not bad - but nothing spectacular either. My favorites were the prawn with herbed tomato sauce and the bococini with basil and tomato. My least favorite was the overdressed C
Now for the main for which I selected pork cheek pasta. Their pasta was really good for a homey style pasta. I shall come back for more.
We then got the dessert platter which included two jammy fruit sorbets a bad canneli (albeit with an amazing chocolate coffee bean garnish) and chocolate cups. Not exciting in flavor and yet again I wished they gave one good dessert than attempting 3 teeny tiny not great ones. I got coffee which was good - the biscotti that came with it was terrible.
Overall will just come back for pasta if I'm in the area but will not go out of my way.
