No complaints about the food. The service, on the other hand, was terrible. There were eight of us and we went before the lunch crowds turned up, so I don't really see any reason for the delays. We ordered nachos to start which came halfway through the meal. Three of us were served our meals and the remaining five had to watch us eat for a good 15 minutes before the rest of the food came out. The last dish to come out, ironically, was a salad. There were eight of us and we went before the lunch crowds turned up, so I don't really see any reason for the delays. We ordered nachos to start which came halfway through the meal. Three of us were served our meals and the remaining five had to watch us eat for a good 15 minutes before the rest of the food came out. The last dish to come out, ironically, was a salad. I just don't understand how the food did not come out in a timely fashion. I would say it took at least 30 minutes for the nachos to eventually turn up (no exaggeration there). We were in that restaurant for a much longer time than we needed to be, honestly.
If I could select no star for the service, I would. There were some very friendly members of staff and some who were incredibly surly. Not sure what was going on today. I have been to Ruby Tuesday's several times and in different locations around Hong Kong and this has got to be one of the worst experiences I have had with regards to service. Normally everything is served together and everyone is able to eat together. Not this time, however.
