Since the former Executive Chef Cary Docherty left the Lobster Bar, there’s no one really leading this kitchen. Also heard there’s renovation going on in the kitchen, so they only serving simple dishes at this moment. I guess it’s not a good time to visit?I can’t believe my eyes! Dinner set is $598! Lobster bisque. My favourite soup. Generous amount of fresh lobster. But I do prefer my lobster bisque more creamy and more rich.

Roast beef in medium rare. Temperature is spot on. For sides, I picked mashed and creamy spinach. Both was pretty good! The only short was the Yorkshire pudding quite dry.

This Banoffee Pie is my thing. Crispy pastry at the bottom. Cream is silky smooth but not too sweet. Love any dessert with banana!

After dinner wine at the terrace.

Overall, it’s very good deal for a 3 courses dinner in a decent restaurant. Looking forward to to try the dishes after the new kitchen is operated.
