Canadian Thanksgiving and I celebrated this year by having an ice cream sandwich at Elephant Grounds. They had one called Maple Leafs. How Canadian is that?It was maple syrup ice cream sandwiched between two coffee cookies, topped with a coffee bean cookie and candied walnuts. It also cost a whopping $68!The ice cream was pretty good though. Smooth and very creamy. It had a subtle taste of maple syrup. The cookie wasn't much coffee taste and it was super hard. Probably to make it durable for ice

The ice cream was pretty good though. Smooth and very creamy. It had a subtle taste of maple syrup. The cookie wasn't much coffee taste and it was super hard. Probably to make it durable for ice cream. It did hold together well.  I did like the candied walnuts even though I'm not much of a walnut fan. But these were good. But $68 was a bit expensive but at least it was worth it.
