Went a few times to try the Gingerbread man cake but it was always sold out. Finally they had it today, so ordered that and the hot Mint Mocha.I don’t really like coffee, but I liked the Latte art and the frothy milk on top.The frothy milk tasted the best and it was slightly minty. As for the cake, it was the same as other cakes McCafe served before with the same format, crunchy biscuit base layers of spongecake and mousse cream. The white mousse cream on top was dusted with powder resembling a gin
Finally they had it today, so ordered that and the hot Mint Mocha.
I don’t really like coffee, but I liked the Latte art and the frothy milk on top.
The frothy milk tasted the best and it was slightly minty. As for the cake, it was the same as other cakes McCafe served before with the same format, crunchy biscuit base layers of spongecake and mousse cream. The white mousse cream on top was dusted with powder resembling a gingerbread man.
I had almost forgotten it was a ginger cake until the heat of the ginger came through.
If the biscuit base were crushed gingerbread cookie, it would have matched it more.
I would preferred the ginger taste to be stronger.
