This place was suggested by one of my friend, as he said all profit made in this restaurant is for charity purpose.

So I went there for dinner with my girlfriend last night. Originally, I made reservation for an indoor table. However, we switched to an outdoor table instead, as all indoor table for 2 are set extremely close together.

First of all, we checked with their wine list for something to drink. We'd found that they used to have a large selection of wine choices, with price also quite reasonable. However, most of them are crossed out already (out of stock). So we ended up trying their Belgium beer (beer with fruit favor). Beer have fruity taste sure is not my cup of tea, but my girlfriend said hers (peach favor) tasted very good.

Then we looked at their menu, but I can hardly consider the food serve here as Belgians/French (as what my friend told me), except the Belgium beer of course. Price for their set are rather cheap, so we ordered a Dinner for 2 set.

1) Smoked salmon with fresh fruit salad - one normal slice smoke salmon with a little veggie on top and surrounded by a total of 6 pieces of fruit (all ice-cube size) - not bad but can't say it taste good

2) Pumpkin soup with scallops - pumpkin soup are very sweet and thick, but you can't really have the taste of scallop in the soup, until you really put a scallop into your mouth

3) Foie Gras with apple slice - a mouthful of fat without the aroma of Foie Gras (maybe it's Foie Gras from China). Apple slice is sure too thin, and already absorbed enough fat when served, so instead of reduce fat from the Foie Gras in your mouth, it actually makes you feel more oily in your mouth

4) Steak with mushroom sauce - steak is in thin cut, but definitely can cook as the way I ordered. Taste good without sauce. Too salty if eat with the sauce.

5) Dessert - Pineapple tart, strawberry mousse cake and Tiramisu. Nothing special.

Service is very good, although waiter and waitress are not professional. All very nice, friendly and have a smiling face.

Overall, food can't consider as very good, but with the service you get and the money you pay. It's still recommend. Especially knowing your money goes to charity.
