Mr Taco Truck has got to have the worst Mexican food I've ever had.

We were craving for Mexican fare last Saturday but the usual Mexican haunts - Brickhouse and Caramba - were full and had an hour to two hours waiting time. We decided to check if Mr Taco Truck still had tables and we decided to try it out because they had a table ready and we were all just famished and didn't really want to wait an hour to eat.

We initially ordered a roast pork burrito bowl, supreme chicken nachos, and steak quesadillas - all of which had the "thumbs up" sign marking them as recommended dishes. The food came quickly enough and we dove right in.

Burrito Bowl - it was mostly shreds of cheese and sour cream. The rice was bland and slightly dry and there was barely any refried beans, and just a few chunks of roast pork.

Supreme Nachos - lots of guacamole (which I love), just a few chicken chunks (which weirdly tasted like roast pork) and really oily nachos.

Steak Quesadillas - this has got to be the best of the bunch even though the tortilla was extremely dry and flaky like it's been reheated in a microwave half a dozen times.

Although the food we've already had wasn't good, we were still quite hungry so we ordered another dish. We ordered another one of their recommended dishes - one of their recommended enchiladas which unfortunately, was the worst of the bunch.

The chicken filling was dry and all you could taste was pepper, pepper and more pepper.

All four dishes that we ordered pretty much tasted the same.

Their drinks list is quite limited with just a couple of specialty drinks on top of the usual sodas and a handful of Mexican beers.

In spite of the nice and accommodating staff, I am never coming back to eat at this place.
