We visited The Triple Lanterns Cafe some time ago. Wonderful ambience amidst Venice-like environment. Pizza was one of the best in HK. My 12-year-old likes the food and the kindness of its owner Julia so much that he wrote the following. Inside Auntie Julia’s café, we took some menus from other tables. In the menu, there are cold and hot drinks, toast sets, and pizzas. We ordered some drinks and pizza. While we were waiting, we watched the beautiful view, blue sky and a shining sun. The drinks and pizza came. The taste of the drinks (iced chocolate mocha) is great! I never tasted something so awesome before! The pizza is even better. The cheese mixed the ingredients’ flavor up and burst it out tnefolds more better! The crust of the pizza is incredible! It’s amazingly thin and as crunchy as ever!
When Auntie Julia came and asked how’s the food, we answered its’ the best food ever. She thanked us and started telling us how the case came to life.Before the café’s here, it was just a normal house with a beautiful sunset view. One day, a fair of visitors came and Auntie Julia treated them with coffee and started chatting with them. The pair of visitors asked Aunite Julia why not built a café there. With the great view, and such good coffee, it’d be such a waste.
When the pair of visitors left, Auntie Julia thought they had a good point. She asked her brother could the house be a café. But he said no, because that was his house, and he’ll control everything in the house. After a lot of asking from Auntie Julia, he finally said, “Fine!” So that’s why this café’s here.
We said thank you for telling us such a great story and paid the bill. When we’re leaving, I swore I would come back to this café. (and I did for a few times already)
