This is not a review about one particular visit, but numerous experiences at Naozen in general. I came here almost every week when I was still in high school The Japanese owner-chef's persistent attitude always translated well in his culinary skills - I never left the restaurant feeling dissatisfied. Sushis here are always fresh and are of good neta (fish on top) vs. nigiri (rice ball) size ratio, meaning comfortable bites that feel just right in the mouth. Even kohada, a very cheap fish here is done very well - and I've learned that ordering cheap fish can often be a good reflection of how good the entirety of a restaurant's menu is.
With the "ladie's sushi set" at lunch comes a tomato dessert which is basically a full tomato made very sweet. At first I wasn't used to the taste of this but now I crave it sometimes
A restaurant I would recommend
