One of my friend from US come back to HK for vacation. So we had a gathering with some old friends. We planned to just found a place for "High Tea" as most of us has other gathering at night. One of my friend from US come back to HK for vacation. So we had a gathering with some old friends. We planned to just found a place for "High Tea" as most of us has other gathering at night. It is hard to find a place which could seat 10 people, and one of my friends just found this SML.

When I got into the restaurant I am attracted by the decoration, it is just like a cafeteria, those long table and high ceiling. I really love the style. I couldn't help but took many photo, from decoration to table settings.

When we looked at the menu, we were surprised to find there is only English and Simplified Chinese on the it. (So it just want to serve tourists?)

I looked at the price of each item, there are 3 prices, Small, Medium and Large, then I understand why the restaurant is called SML, as each item in the menu have S,M and L portion to choose from.

I ordered a small Tiramisu (check out the photo), it served with a little glass jar

. I quite like the presentation, but the taste is just so-so. It is not as good as those I made myself. A friend ordered a small cream puff, and I had a bite, and it is just okay as well. However, another friend ordered a Medium Clams Linguine, and she liked it a lot, maybe I should tried that out next time, as I am a pasta person. Other friends just ordered coffee and smoothies. BTW, I like the pattern on their coffee mug, there are all size of letter S, M and L in different direction on it. I really want to ask if they could sell one to me.

So we updated each other's "news" more than we taste the food in this "meal", the food is just "okay", but the place is nice to sit and talk, so I would recommend large group of people to dine here. But the price is not cheap, we didn't each much (each just had a drink or a dessert) and the bill is 606 for 12 ppl.
