During our vacation with my aunt we chose to be see the views and scenery from across the river at Tsim Tsa Tsui. We decided to dine in at the restaurant and it was a pleasant experience, albeit standard.The service was very quick, although we ate at 2:30, so the rush hour had past. The service was very quick, although we ate at 2:30, so the rush hour had past. The service was professional and purposeful with little issues for myself during the meal. The range of meat cuts available were standard or a little below expectations, The area to pick vegetables, noodles and other supplements possessed a wide variety available which was a nice sign; however the small bowl-size was disappointing as you had to make multiple runs to even get a taste of what they had to offer. When the meat we had ordered arrived, we were surprised, some dishes looked lovely while others literally had an appalling look to them. Overall the food was tasty, but not unique in standard which I believe you could find else where.
The one issue we had was the lack of overall communication between my aunt who ordered and the server, who I believe was new. Her belief when ordering was that the 198 HKD wagyu came with the over-all meal set up, although we required to have the 108 HKD all-you-can-eat to have access to the vegetables/other supplementaries. This wasn't made clear during our ordering situation were the server had said that you could have the 198HKD without the 108 HKD meal. When we received the bill we were surprised, and received little sympathy for the manager (They were closing at 4pm). Although we did receive ice-cream vouchers for the store next door, this still didn't mend the distaste clear in the atmosphere.
