RECOMMENDED: I've eaten here numerous times and based upon all my travels, this is likely one of the best consistent Thai restaurants I've yet to go to. This is definitely worth the journey to get here.

It's located on the lower floor of the tony Pacific Place shopping mall (Admiralty MTR), not a place you'd expect to find such quality offerings.

The restaurant features and open kitchen and relaxed low height tables and sofas and attracts a well dressed and well educated group straight from the office or lugging shopping bags. A nice mixture of locals, expats and tourists fill the tables. On most nights expect a slight wait for your table.

All the dishes are excellent and considering the location not absurdly priced. My favorites are:

Satays - I know this is boring, but these guys have nailed it, nicely grilled bits of the flavorful meat bits and marianted to perfection. This is a must starter.

Chicken wrapped in banana leaves - another one of my favorites, simply prepared, beautifully presented with tender nuggest of moist chicken.

Vegatarian pad thai - this is my 'must' order item. Most pad thai are a nasty glob of noodles with a smattering of canned vegetables with some tired bean sprouts. Not here. This dish is a cornucopia of fresh Thai vegetables and has all the flavor points you'd expect (or should expect) in a Thai dish.

Green curry - another beautiful dish with an assortment of vegetables (3 different eggplant), it's spicy hot and this is best taken in small doses. But again, an excellent execution of a Thai classic.

Tip: Some reviewers have commented on the service, the service here is great. In HK, wait staff 'wait' for you to call them over otherwise they won't bother you. So if you want to order, get a refill or get your bill, simply raise your hand and scream out in English "hello" and someone will trot right over to you. Staff members work as a team, so grab the first one who wanders by.

This isn't rude and beats the US system of politely waiting for them to service you (who thought that system up?)/
