Went to lunch for the first time at Dondonya Shokudo in Takishoo Shing. Went to lunch for the first time at Dondonya Shokudo in Takishoo Shing. After being seated in a communal area, I reviewed the menu and ordered the Pork Cutlet with Curry Sauce and a side dish of Stir-Fried Vegetables with Pork.

That's where the waiting began. I noticed that people that were getting seated after me were getting their meals delivered. I waited for about 20 minutes before I signaled a waitress to inquiry about my food. The waitress did not speak English well and I requested someone to assist me.

When they finally brought out the Pork Cutlet, which they said was just made, it was lukewarm. Around another 5+ minutes, then the stir-fried vegetables arrived which was hot. It seems that either the order wasn't put into the system correctly, or just poor table management.

Obviously, there are some problems at this restaurant in their ability to deliver good service to their customers.

Wouldn't recommend this place unless you have time to wait and inquiry when your food will be delivered.
