I came here on a Friday for lunch as I felt like Ramen 🍜 I arrived around 12pm, quite early and it wasn’t busy. I was able to get a table instead of a bar seat which is more spacious 👍I ordered of a touch screen menu at the entrance. I ordered the original lunch set ramen for $82. For the set you can choose either a soft boiled egg or gyoza 🥟 and a drink. I chose the gyoza and added $3 for a cold 🥶Pepsi Black.
The gyoza came first and were ok. There were 3 gyoza which had crispy hard skin on one side and were soft and juicy on the other. They went well with the gyoza dipping sauce.
The ramen was average, the soup base was ok, it is pork base Tonkotsu soup broth, but it doesn’t have that deep creamy white broth texture and depth of flavor from a pork bone broth cooked over 12 hours. The ramen noodles were Al Dente with good chewy texture and the BBQ pork was like a processed slice of luncheon meat to me.
I can’t complain for $82 to be honest, it was a good meal and tasty with good service. However if you are a connoisseur of ramen soup broth you maybe disappointed.
