My friend and I visited Royal Inn for dinner few days ago 🍽️. We ordered two main courses. The first was the pan-fried Hokkaido scallops with saffron risotto. The scallops were cooked just right, tender and slightly sweet, pairing well with the creamy risotto 🫶🏻. The saffron added a subtle richness to the dish without being overwhelming, complementing the seafood nicely! For the other main course, I chose the chargrilled 8oz Angus steak cooked medium-well, accompanied by a generous portion of foie gras 🥰. The steak was flavourful and well-seasoned and the foie gras was rich and buttery 👍🏻
Overall, both dishes were well-prepared, with good flavour balance!
