So many eateries in the neighborhood are closed on Mondays... luckily we found this open & gave it a try -

we ordered:

honey ginger coffee - When it arrived, you could immediately smell the strong ginger, which was fresh and natural.  Personally I prefer sweeter coffee, so as offered by the staff, I asked for more honey (he said it came from Thailand).  But as the coffee had a very strong flavour, the additional honey didn't help much.  My friend, who's a coffee-lover, loved the taste and thought it was a nice mix of all.

strawberry latte - as the lady said, it's like a hot milkshake - the fresh strawberry juice was a nice match with the foamy milk - not too sweet and it carries a fresh taste - not artificial at all.

caramel salted cake - using caramel in dessert needs a good control over the sweetness and this one did a good job - the caramel wasn't too strong nor sweet, and it was highlighted by the right amount of salt - yum!

carrot cake - the lady asked if we wanted the carrot cake heated or not - yes we wanted something warm.  They slightly heated it up in the oven until the sides became a bit brownish - the cake became a bit dry, BUT as the cheese on top was softened to the right level - it melted on your tongue and mixed well with the cake below!  Yum!

can't wait for their pet event!
