yesterday was my birthday. honey and I went to the Cafe for dinner. we ordered to "self-design" set dinner ($298 each). we can choose one appentizer, main course and dessert from the menu, coffee/teas is included. the waitress have a nice and brief introduction of their famous food. the menu is quite suprising, there are many Asian food, even more than Manadarin cafe. the waitress recommneded us to order chicken soup, chicken curry, indian tindoori...but still we would like to have some western
the mushroom soup is very creamy and thick. it tastes good. luckily, we shared the soup. the bowl is very large. if i had consumered one bowl of soup, i think i can leave. the goose liver tastes good together with water melon. but it is not the best one i had ever tried. the lamb is ok but not outstanding. i am quite disappointed with the lobster pasta. the spagehtti is acceptable (i like the texture of pasta in Grappa's or Jaspas in soho more" and there are quite many losbter meat and it tastes fresh and sweet. but i really don't like the sauce. actually, it nearly dried and it is very very thick, just stick on each spagehtti. that makes me feel very full.
the hazelnut prufeit is good but my honey said it is too sweet. I love it anyway. the chcocolate creme brulee tastes like chocolate moose more. very smooth and declicious.
when the waitress know it is my birthday, she put a candle on the brufeit and sang birtdhay song together with three other waiter and waitress. they also gave me a little lion. so surprising. i am very happy about that!
there is 15% off with Hang Seng platinum credit card.
i enjoyed my birthday night very much.
