I was honestly disappointed after all that publicity Lupa received. Other than the wine we got, I really can't say I was too pleased with any of the dishes. I was honestly disappointed after all that publicity Lupa received. Other than the wine we got, I really can't say I was too pleased with any of the dishes. I wasn't full after the meal but I didn't even want to order anything extra from the menu. I was THAT disappointed. The ambience was fine and the service was good, but that's the least you could expect from a place like this.

Walnut & pecorino salad - Mediocre. The pecorino was good but that's about it.

Cured cod - Way too much olive we could hardly taste the cod.

Crab pasta - This was the best dish we had. The portion wasn't too small, pasta was chewy and sauce was nicely infused with sweet crab flavours.

Pork shoulder - Meat was dry and tough. This dish tasted very similar to the 鎮江骨 you get in Chinese restaurants. There were no sides, except a few slices of cucumber and chilli. So we were expecting the meat to be really spectacular, that melt-in-your-mouth-goodness you get with pork cooked in this way. But let's say that my grandma could do a better job with her pork stews.
