The owner of this quaint Japanese Sushi shop is Mr. Lai. He has more than 200 different ways of creating sushi rolls and there's no stopping to his creativity. I believe in most chain sushi shops, they're called 'creative rolls'.... If you're from the States or Canada or that side of the world, you'll be so so so ridiculously happy to find this shop here, they have your favourite spider roll, Boston roll and just all that!!!!

Price-wise, they're not exactly cheap, but they are worth every single cent you spent.

Here are just some of my personal favourites...
1) Lobster Roll - this is actually not on the menu but we are absolutely in love with this roll. Mr Lai is now our 'personal' chef who creates rolls that he thinks we'll like since we've tried everything on the menu. So new rolls coming up every time we're there! So this roll is pretty much tempura lobster with avocado slices on top...my descriptions are NOT doing the rolls justice, I apologise. Here's the picture to make up for it.

2) Volcano - this is a hot dish (ok, before you call are you crazy on me, it's actually baked scallops with spicy mayonnaise sauce on top and some avocado and imitation crab meat in the roll) I've never tried anything so nice - it's really a nice contrast to those icy cold sushi you get to eat elsewhere.

There are actually loads more but I forgot their names.......but no fear since I have their sushi rolls catalog on my phone - there's no app. I have the photos of the rolls coz I've had most of them.
Anyway, here's some mouth-watering pics for all of you.

Now, I've brought many friends to this place and it has never disappoint anyone. Mr. Lai can tailor-made your sushi so fit your own delicate taste buds!
If you have no idea what's what (most likely you won't - he has creative names for all of them), just ask him and he'll tell you and make you the best fitting sushi for you!
Other Info. : It's a really small place with 5-6 tables - 15 ppl max I believe. Mr. Lai is the only sushi chef there so it might take you some time to enjoy his sushi rolls, but it's definitely worth your wait.
