I had reserved a table for two about a week ago. There were quite a few vacant tables throughout our lunch so walk-in on a weekday should be fine. The soup of the day was potato soup so I went for the garden salad instead. However, it was very very disappointing. The vegetables themselves were ok and it was the problem of their dressing. Their dressing was too salty and the overdose of black pepper could be one reason. There were 4 meatballs of reasonable size. The meatballs, although a bit hard,

Coffee/tea was included in the lunch set. I ordered hot lemon water which was nothing special.
The disappointing appetizer and mains had made me think twice about trying their dessert. Eventually I decided to give them a try and their dessert at a top-up cost of $15+10% was cheesecake. It was really appreciated that they remembered to write "Happy Birthday" with my friend's name on the desserts plate as requested earlier so it gave my friend a small surprise! The cheese cake themselves were surprisingly good. Please excuse me for not posting a picture of the cheesecakes here because it had my friend's name on the desserts plate . The cheesecake looked pretty nice with a raspberry on top of each of the cake. They tasted good too as they were sweet and refreshing, and they were quite rich in cheese with my favourite cookies base to add a little bit of texture to the cheesecake. It was not particularly thick so finishing the whole piece didn't make me feel overly full.
At such a price, honestly I think there were definitely way better choices in the same district especially given its relatively remote location. However, it was quiet enough for a nice chat with your lunch buddies and service was attentive. But I truly think that they needed to improve the quality of their food.
Gave an overall "OK" rating as an appreciation of their service.
