During lunch, they have a lunch set menu and a lunch tasting menu. Menu is in English and Chinese. I decided to go with the lunch set menu and chose the main with two veggie dishes for $288.

The meal starts with an amuse bouche. This was a vegetable terraine and a salad.

The vegetable terrrain was stewed varying colored lettuce with  a broad bean sauce. Interesting. The sauce had a strong starchy taste that went well with the soft sweet lettuce.

My other vegetable was an eggplant roll with mixed veggies and chilli paste. Beautiful plating. There was a bit of mayo on the side. The eggplant was delicious and had a slight spicy kick to it as it was flavored with the chilli sauce.

My main was a jajangmyeon. The noodles were chewy and smooth. The sauce was rich. But most interesting is the added various types of mushrooms to substitute the meat portion of this traditional noodle dish.

It also came with a side of spicy pickled cucumbers just to liven things up.

The ending of the meal was Korean Delighted Petite Four and Sweet Drink.

The petite four was a cake made from dates and a soymilk cream on top. Not too sweet and very moist.

The sweet drink was  a rice drink. This was a lot different than the Japanese amazake I'm used to. This was not as sweet.

Definitely an interesting experience from the usual salad. Plating was done well. Food was delicious. Service was good. Would probably return.
