I haven't tried to Macaroons here yet, they can wait. So this is purely a review of their Chocolates. Tried their truffles, dark chocolates, some filled ganaches, and milk chocolates.I have to say, the taste of the chocolate is better, stronger and more hard-core than some other chocolates I love - such as Godiva, Valrhona Chocolate, Neuhaus, plus other ones like Agnes B Delices, Leonidas, Michel Kluz, 1884 (?), etc. I tried some of these on the same day as comparison to be fair, by the way.

HORIZONTAL TASTINGS!
The ganaches were slightly overly sweet in my opinion, and the chocolate base is not as smooth as say a Godiva or even Valrhona. However the dark chocolates' taste was exceptionally fresh, long lingering taste and fruity as well, you can really only understand real chocolate having tried the dark chocolates here!
Haven't tried Amedei or La Maison du Chocolat yet, but so far, dark chocolate wise Jean Paul Hevin is my new love, followed by Varlhona. For more milk-based or filled chocolate ganaches however, I still prefer Varlhona.
For smooth chocolates and not a bad taste, Godiva still does the trick wonderfully!
Amedei and La Maison du Chocolat, here I come tomorrow!
