I went here for lunch with lunch of 3 courses at $199 without service charge. Set menu choice is quite expansive compared to most set lunch menu restaurants. The only problem I find is the quality vs price benchmark. At over HK200 per person for lunch, it is on the expensive side but the quality and portion size did not really reflect the price mark. There are many other choices everywhere which can provide a substantial lunch for under 200. A little bit of salad, small portion of pasta and small dessert left me still hungry and myself popping into McDonald’s to get a small burger.
The presentation of the food is fine but the taste in terms of seasoning and texture can be improved.
The concept felt like a chef that has worked in a place like. Carbone or Giandos but lacking the execution, but it’s a French restaurant mainly serving pastas. I didn’t see anything French inspired on the menu. It’s more of a pan European Bistro trying to elevate itself into something it’s not.
