Wonderful staff and relaxed ambiance

I rarely walked across the lanes and alleys in Wanchai. But I knew that lots of the hidden gems are just right there awaiting us. And cause I had to work on Sat and so would like to treat myself a nice meal after work. I rarely walked across the lanes and alleys in Wanchai. But I knew that lots of the hidden gems are just right there awaiting us. And cause I had to work on Sat and so would like to treat myself a nice meal after work. Was supposed to have a jap curry rice my frd suggested me on the same street (Swantou Street) but cox they closed at 3pm on Sat and so I walked a bit further and saw this more about the western-style restaurant. (Just made me recall the days in Aussie). Whilst I was looking at the menu and deciding what to grab for, a guy who was very attentive came out and explained their signature dishes very detailedly. (this attentiveness has always impressed me). And so I just listened to him and ordered the Ngau-Nam Wich. After that, the guy led me to a nice seat which I could enjoy their band's live music during the lunch. Impressive service right haha. The waiting time for the Ngau-Nam Wich was a bit long for like 10 mins but coz they had music which I could enjoy during the wait and so that was okay. Whilst the food was ready, they wouldnt deliver it to my seat and that I had to go pick up the sandwich at the counter myself (which I didnt expect that for a dine-in service.. hmm). The Ngau-Nam Wich WAS YUMMMM. The music was also great. The overall ambiance was really really NICE, absolutely perfect for after-work enjoyment. The guy even told me that they would have the LOBSTER ROLL soon. So keep an eye for that!! Highly recommended.
