I had been to Tenyoshi many many times since its opening. Certainly the lunch is more value for money as compare to dinner. Nearly half the price for the same portion and quality of food. For lunch the 10 pcs of tempura is my favourite. Costing around $200 (base on my memory), the quality is definitely good with prawns, fish, vegi mix, and sometimes they will have a tempura vegi cake ( portion is generous). Ladies can share one order. My honey love the tempura on rice (天Dong). Also very gene

My honey love the tempura on rice (天Dong). Also very generous portion served. With just fried prawns, fish and a mixture of vegi and topped with the warm tempura sauce. At lunch is costing $100 while dinner time, I think a lot more expensive.
There is also something very special I tried before is the prawn paste on 紫蘇葉. Too delicious to explain, you have to try it. The smell is amazing. Another one is the sea urchin being wrapped by the 紫菜and then fried it the tempura way!
Another time, I tried the tempura CHEESE, is very special but beware when U put it into the mouth is very hot. If you don't mind the smell of onion, on the right season, the have the small Japanese onions (like the pearl onions), it tasted very sweet instead!
They offered a lot of seasonal vegi but tempura style.
Since the owner of Tenyoshi owns 壽司廣as well, so the shop deco is 90% look alike. And apart from tempura, you can order according to the menu of 壽司廣as well.
Alot of restaurants offered tempura on their menu but not many can do it the as good as Tenyoshi. Look simple but to do it perfect is difficult.
