Portugese chicken is quite easy to make. It has always been a party favourite, but is just as well served as a family dish.

Ingredient and Portion
Chicken thigh meat 3pieces
potaotes 2pcs
yellow tumeric powder 1tsp
shallots 6pcs
chicken stock 1 1/2cup
evaporated milk 1/4cup
coconut juice 1/2cup
butter 2tbsp
Seasoning
Mariande for chicken:
salt 1/2tsp
sugar 1/2tsp
yellow tumeric 1tsp
cornstarch 1tbsp
light soya sauce 1tsp
oil 1tbsp
Method
Cut chicken meat into smaller pieces. Mix with marinade and let rest for 20 minutes.
Wash potatoes, boil them in water until done, then remove skin and cut into smaller pieces. Slice shallots.
heat oil in wok, saute turmeric powder and sliced shallots, the fry chicken until slightly browned. Add in potatoes and water, bring to boil and simmer over low heat for 20 minutes.
Add in all remaining ingredients and cook for a while, then serve. Most ideal to serve with rice.
