Terms and Conditions of OpenRice x UnionPay APP《Winter Dining Rewards》— Takeaway Offer:

This promotion offer is only applicable to UnionPay APP (the “UnionPay APP”) users. An “Eligible Transaction” occurs when a Customer makes a transaction through OpenRice mobile application and uses UnionPay APP to pay for all relevant fares and fees associated with that transaction. By participating in this promotion offer, the Customer acknowledges that he/she/it has read, understood, accepted and agreed to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. The Promotion Period runs from 13 December 2022 at 10:00am to 6 February 2023 at 11:59pm, time refers to Hong Kong time (“Promotion Period”).

  1. This promotion offer only applies to OpenRice Takeaway Service.
  2. Customer must be an OpenRice member, maintain a valid OpenRice mobile application user account with a valid registered mobile phone number, and use UnionPay APP as the payment method for OpenRice Takeaway Service; The promotion is also applicable to UnionPay APP users bound with UnionPay Card with card number starting with 62 and issued by designated card issuing institutions (Click here for details). Customer must update the OpenRice mobile application and UnionPay APP to the latest version to enjoy the Offers.
  3. Takeaway Offer (“Offer”): During the Promotion Period, a Customer who uses UnionPay APP as payment method for OpenRice Takeaway Service can enjoy an instant discount of HK$15 upon a single net spending of HK$50 or above. 500 quotas per day and on a first-come-first-served basis. Offer is subject to the quota usage status and the availability at the time of purchase at OpenRice platform.
  4. Each Customer can enjoy the Offer once per each promotion day (from 10:00am to 11:59pm) and up to 40 times during the Promotion Period.
  5. The amount after discount will be displayed prior to payment confirmation; once confirmed, the discount will be applied and deducted instantly.
  6. The Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion offer or promotional discount coupons, unless otherwise specified.
  7. The Offer above cannot be exchanged for cash/ service, other products or discounts and is not transferable.
  8. The Offer is on first-come-first-served base while stock last and is subject to availabilities of the relevant order items. Offer will not be reserved to any User for any reason before the Merchant has confirmed accepting the relevant transaction order.
  9. Under the law of Hong Kong, intoxicating liquor must not be sold or supplied to a minor in the course of business. 根據香港法律，不得在業務過程中，向未成年人售賣或供應令人醺醉的酒類。
  10. The Offer is only applicable to Customers whose eligibility is determined at the sole discretion of UnionPay International Company Limited (“UnionPay International”) to be in good standing and remain valid and not in default during the relevant Promotion Period.
  11. Any fraud and/or abuse of the Offer by any person (as determined by the Openrice Limited and UnionPay International at their sole discretion) will result in forfeiture of the person’s eligibility to the Offer. Openrice Limited and UnionPay International reserve the right to deduct the value of any Offer redeemed inappropriately to a Customer directly from any of the Customer’s Eligible UnionPay Card without prior notice and/or take legal action in such instances to recover any outstanding amounts.
  12. Openrice Limited and UnionPay International shall not be responsible for any obligations and liabilities in relation to the products or services provided by the respective product or service provider(s). For any product and/or service enquiries, Customers should contact the relevant merchant(s) or product/service provider(s) directly.
  13. Openrice Limited and UnionPay International shall not be responsible for any matter in relation to submission delay, loss, and any information transmission error due to technical problems including but not limited to any computer or internet network issues.
  14. Customers are responsible for all expenses regarding to this campaign, including but not limited to transportation, tax and insurance.
  15. Should there be any discrepancy or inconsistency between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version shall prevail.
