Teakha! The first thing I remember this place is their green tea cheesecake. Never get bored with their green tea cheesecake. Then, the next thing I can relate to this cafe is their TEA! Tea is the soul of this place. The last thing I can come up with is the space of the cafe is REALLY small. But that’s how I like it. Small neighborhood with a small cafe downstairs. This place doesn’t sounds like Hong Kong at all!PoHo! This is new term I learned recently. But apparently this term has been used
PoHo! This is new term I learned recently. But apparently this term has been used for year. PoHo means area around Po Hing Fong, which is just one street next to Tai Ping Shan Street at Sheung Wan. Lots of art galleries, small cafes like Teakha, Cafe Deadend etc are popping up in the area. This area would probably be my weekend getaway destination!
The kitchen is just next to the cashier, where you can see the staffs are busy brewing tea, baking cakes, running around serving the customers.
If I have to put a priority of this 3 cakes we ate, it would be (1) green tea cheesecake, (2) Pineapple Upside Down cake & (3) Victoria Sponge Cake.
I tried their brown sugar osmanthus chiffon cake before. Unfortunately, we didn’t see it that day when we went there. I’m not sure it’s out of stock that day we went or they doesn’t offer this cake anymore.
Once in while they will have some new creations, so Teakha will be a spot at Sheung Wan I’ll go again and again!
