The menu seemed like a safe bet and there were lots of seats available which was why we went in.
Ordered wonton noodles, which came with the vermicelli rolls with dough bread inside, and beef with rice.
The wonton consisted of a small shrimp. The dumpling itself was too thick on the tail, so when you bite into it, it's hard and still powdery. No good.
The portion of noodles was small, the noodles were soggy, and the broth which looked yellow was tasteless. There was a very strong smell of ammonia with the noodles, so anyone thinking there isn't must have a clothes peg on their nose. Also the noodles left a numb feeling on my tongue, not sure if there was too much alkaline.
The portions of this place were miserably small, and the food tasted wrong. Service was slow and several tables which ordered the same portions as us and after us got their food way before us. Clearly messed up orders and poor organisation. Also the bowls were slanted which is nothing new but they didn't rest the bowl properly on the plate before us, so had I not noticed, the bowl would've smashed onto the ground. They should really stick to normal bowls since they're so unattentive.
