The dessert was the Macao delicacy of toasted buns with sweetened condensed milk atop. Quite nice. And I alternated between these and the chicken dish to refresh my palatte. The amount of sweetened condensed milk was just enough to balance the spiciness of the chicken; and elevate the buns above those with no seasoning (or even just butter).



题外话/补充资料: The servers had not problem with making this dish without MSG for me. (But this had to be stipulated and agreed upon prior to ordering). Kept me warm all evening ;)

講真,以前澳門茶餐廳的食物水準都很高,價錢又唔貴,我都好喜歡。但呢幾年,水準都已跌了很多,衹好過有啲坊間嘅茶餐廳,但價錢就比較貴,而且服務又差,可能太多強國的遊客幫襯,有啲唔志在!今晚上花藝班之前還有些小時間,而佢又在學校樓下,不如就係呢處食埋晚飯吧! 我就點了咖喱雜菜跟飯,其實呢個咖喱唔錯,我還覺得汁底仲有啲同咖喱牛腩或雞翼唔同;初食時唔覺辣,但食落辣味就從舌頭漸漸沁出,雜菜以薯仔塊、椰菜、脆肉瓜及雜箘再由咖喱汁煮過,加上另用薯仔煮爛溶在咖喱汁中,食落香濃及帶有微約的蕃茄味,並不是坊間另外的做法祇是將咖喱汁淋上去就算,可以食出佢嘅香辣味,我覺得比翠華做得更好;不過敗筆就在脆肉瓜,因脆肉瓜會出水兼難吸收咖喱嘅香味,有啲淡口,相反薯仔塊及雜箘吸收咖喱汁後就好味好多。

我就點了咖喱雜菜跟飯,其實呢個咖喱唔錯,我還覺得汁底仲有啲同咖喱牛腩或雞翼唔同;初食時唔覺辣,但食落辣味就從舌頭漸漸沁出,雜菜以薯仔塊、椰菜、脆肉瓜及雜箘再由咖喱汁煮過,加上另用薯仔煮爛溶在咖喱汁中,食落香濃及帶有微約的蕃茄味,並不是坊間另外的做法祇是將咖喱汁淋上去就算,可以食出佢嘅香辣味,我覺得比翠華做得更好;不過敗筆就在脆肉瓜,因脆肉瓜會出水兼難吸收咖喱嘅香味,有啲淡口,相反薯仔塊及雜箘吸收咖喱汁後就好味好多。

下晏5點幾諗住飲下午茶,首先無下午筡,唯有兩公婆叫咗杯奶茶,檸茶同兩個蒲撻,伙記好cool只話無蒲撻(其實只需稍等都㑹再有出爐),咁唯有叫個波籮油,嚟到氵蒪氵蒪兩片牛油以冰粒凍住上,可惜波蘿包唔熱,波蘿皮唔脆,個包大而空洞,食咗都無乜料到,失敗•兩杯茶只係一般但也非難飲•中途見到掃地呀妗見兩個似內地女遊客想轉位即刻語帶責備叫佢地坐返原位•重即刻放塊留位牌係張空枱上,但唔夠兩分鈡又比咗兩個之後嘅女遊客•最後食完埋單重要加一$57超貴•講到尾無禮貌無質素無下次。

媽媽要嘅香蒜雞絲意粉好香蒜味,睇上去細細份,但系食落都幾多。
而且味道唔會好重,媽媽話朝早冇點食早餐嘅食呢份下午茶就好滿足了。

我記得以前澳門茶餐廳雖不算很好, 但亦不會太差. 但這間位於遊客旺區門面闊大的澳門茶餐廳就極令人失望.下午5點左右, 逛街完畢想醫肚, 入到去位子大把, 被指往一張面壁的雙人位. 但一座下就聞到大陣不知是倒瀉奶茶太久而產生的臭味 要求換位卻不得要領 被告知"兩個人係坐呢度架啦!" 求其點了葡撻 , 豬扒包和凍奶茶, 想快D走 (其實應該即走!) 葡撻 味道OK, 但SIZE很細, HKD8 凍奶茶還可以, HKD19 豬扒包 (HKD23) 不但SIZE細, 味道更可歸入"XXX" , 包同豬扒都一樣沒味道又硬又韌, 唔知點可以成為此店招牌菜 只能用凍奶茶夾硬把包送入喉嚨, 但可惜臭味與硬包夾攻下, 我連半個豬扒包都吃不完, 只好快速逃離此店! 出去後發現PAT PAT 涼涼地, 竟然是坐椅是濕的, 把我的褲也弄濕了! 我倆早上去九龍公園運動,出尖沙咀MTR站想起食早餐有好選擇,豬扒飽。於是向樂道方向走。這家澳門茶餐廳在尖沙咀已經營多年,門面寬濶。內外裝修一貫以澳門餐廳風格、彩色紙皮石、卡位、不銹鋼咖啡杯等等..。但裝修已殘舊,天花冷氣不停滴水。因滴水坐位被迫換過。叫了兩個不同早餐,一個是豬扒飽餐,另一個是鮮油波籮餐,還加多一個葡撻。我來此處專爲豬扒飽,當然要嚐真一些。豬扒飽飽身細小,豬扒肉質一般水準,並沒有特別驚喜。$15元一個的鮮油波籮,抱有祈望,很可惜卻令人大失所望,飽身雖大但無香味,且飽面的波籮皮並不香脆,沒有囗感,比一般水準低。而葡撻亦相對偏細,蛋撻料已下堪亦不夠熱度,招牌出品已失了代表性。服務水準與一般茶餐廳無分別,以一間連所店集團來說則強差人意。

Not really a fan of food served in restaurants Chinese style.

Macau restaurant is basically like a Chinese restaurant serving Macau style food, but I felt it was quite similar to Chinese, especially the curries, crabs, baked rice and the pricing was expensive for that style of restaurant where you need to share tables with others.

Anyway, I only tried the crispy buns, there were lots of different ones to try, from kaya to curried tuna.

I tried the one with peanut butter and condensed milk and the curry.

I forgot to ask them to leave out the butter, so I got a slab of butter on top.

I always find that weird, the slab of butter on crispy buns and pineapple buns.

Overall, the crispy bun was well done, the crust was crispy, and the inside was soft.
For the peanut butter it was coarse peanut butter, and you can see the pieces of peanut.

The savoury one tasted better, the fish was not too dry, but the curry was quite spicy.

Next time I would like to try plain kaya, without butter.

Went with my husband on the last day of us in Hong Kong.Visited this restaurant, they seated us with a pair of lesbian.4 of us ordered at the same time.When the waiter deliver food to us, the waiter put accordingly to their side and our side, but when they deliver the ice tea, they put both at our side, so, obviously we thought its ours, which in fact, one of it belongs to the lesbian couple.So the lesbian couple keep chasing for their iced tea and finally found out that we wrongly took theirs a

因為同朋友放工睇戲前要醫個肚於是貪就腳吃澳門茶餐廳我倆先叫了出名的葡撻吃再每日叫了一碗蕃茄牛腩通粉加嘢飲埋單每人六十幾都幾貴朋友是男仔,有點不夠飽看戲還要加爆谷餐吃才行還記得當年於老銅放學夜晚吃有餐供應為何現在沒有了?還是這間不提供?

之前係附近返工, 係我以前既飯堂, 隔咗很久了...很回味!!招牌澳門炒飯 ~ 炒的粒粒分明的炒飯, 配料豐富,有臘肉, 黑橄欖, 海鮮, 青菜...果然是招牌!!港式煲仔飯 ~ 淨係睇個煲既樣, 明明係韓國煲, 點解叫港色煲仔飯, 材料都係好韓國feel, 味道論係港式或韓式都比不上, 不如改番叫澳式算la!!XO醬牛肉炒河粉 ~ 炒得好香噴噴, 味道香口, 河粉食落好滑漏, 牛肉嫩之如肉味也得重!!XO醬砂鍋炒青菜 ~ 感覺應該是把砂鍋加熱, 直接把生菜倒進去和XO醬拌炒, 不過很好吃!

Dinner for 2.Got there around 8pm SundayRestaurant was quite full but no need to wait. They were very fast to seat us. Seating:- Needed to seat with others. - Car seat is spacious.- Otherwise its very cramped.
