This is probably the most popular outlet within the APITA food court for regular meals. With good reason... their sets are extraordinarily good value for money! For around HK$50-60 you get a main course, mini Japanese salad, Hokkaido corn soup, and choice of hot or cold beverages. My favorite main courses here are:- Deep fried prawn curryThick, aromatic Japanese curry that is nice and spicy (some places have it too sweet), generous potato and carrot pieces, and two deep-fried prawns served on to
My favorite main courses here are:
- Deep fried prawn curry
Thick, aromatic Japanese curry that is nice and spicy (some places have it too sweet), generous potato and carrot pieces, and two deep-fried prawns served on top of white rice
- Seafood spaghetti
The spaghettis here are generally good (Salmon and spinach, mushroom and mentaiko, are other popular picks) but my favorite is the seafood which comes with generous, rich tomato sauce, shrimps, scallops and baby clams. The serving is large so while the gentlemen will be happy, ladies may want to share!
- Omelet rice with beef tongue
The beef tongue is tender and juicy, comes with an omelet wrapped fried rice -- the quality of the fried rice is not very consistent, sometimes good and sometimes disappointing, but the omelet is usually made to perfection - fluffy and thin. Comes with demi glace sauce (tastes like beef stew sauce)
I notice lasagna is very popular as are the baked rices but not a fan of cheese so haven't tried these yet.
