Had a lunch here for the 1st time and heard that it has a brisk lunchtime business. This was evident when we arrived, but were lucky to nab a table for 6 people. In fact, 2 of us arrived earlyand the staff let us hold the remaining 4 places while our friends arrived a few minutes later.I ordered a chicken fillet and pork neck rice, with extra rice. Unfortunately no photos on this occasionbut the food came quickly. The chicken had a nice flavour and there were some vegetables on the plateto balance out the dish slightly. The meal came with a free drink. I can only imagine how many chickenfillets this restaurant cooks during the lunchtime so it was good that it was not too dry and quite moistalthough flavour was good but not memorable in any way.And a final word, be prepared to almost bash elbows with other tables as this place is fairly cramped, perhaps a victim of its own success. So, a 1/2 mark knocked off. Thus 6/10.

I have been ordering from Wing's Catering for more than 6 years now. Since my colleagues and I have always relied on them to deliver the food to our office, I've never paid much attention to it other than the rather oddly named restaurant and the equally oddly named "Wing Style Chicken Fillet".Like what I've mentioned in my review of "Winestube", my taste buds have regained control since I've completely stopped smoking. Then I started appreciating what I eat and drink a lot more - including the the modest looking but delicious chicken fillet in a ricebox.Similar to most restaurants located at the Anton Street or Landale Street area, the restaurant is extremely crowded during lunchtime. However, like "Ming Garden", as long as you get takeaway, you could jump the long queue and get your lunchbox within a reasonable time. I usually go to the Landale Street Branch.According to what I've read in the articles posted outside the restaurant, what's special about the two pieces of Chicken Fillet with your lunchbox was that they have sliced away the chicken fat underneath the skin, spread the chicken fillet out by cutting the tendons (I know it may sound a bit scary ), which makes it a lot easier to eat and chew without the "rubber bands", and then marinating it over night with a special homemade, no doubt "Wing Style" sauce. The Wing Style sauce is black pepper and sweet soy sauce based, possibly with a bit of Chinese Rose wine as well. After marinating the chicken fillet overnight, they'll grill it in a specially made oven. It's super hot so that it only takes two minutes to cook the fillet. The skin is crispy but the meat is still very tender and juicy. The restaurant will also pour a bit more specially made soy sauce over the lunchbox. A little bit of preserved vegetables and a little bit of fresh mixed vegetables is also included in the lunchbox with two chicken fillets for just HK$43, which I find very reasonable for the quality. The sauce is a bit strong so I can't have it every day. However, once in a while I'll have a craving for it. (I've ordered an extra piece in my lunchbox at about $10 extra.)Worth a try. Apparently, the story behind this shop was that the father of the Boss used to own a chain of Chinese restaurants and left it to Mr. Wing. However, he did not manage those restaurants properly, wasted his time, gambled and eventually squandered the properties away. Mr. Wing later utilized what's left of the wealth to start all over again and developed this Wing's style chicken fillet. I've met him in person at the Landale Street branch. He was extremely polite to everyone and was very hands on. Wing's catering now have a number of branches and there're all very popular. His motto is: Be humble and hardworking. Now that's something to be proud of.
