I have a very traditional habit that i would visit restaurant for Dim Sum every single Sunday morning or afternoon(depends on the time i woke up).
Compare with Tim Ho Wan Dim Sum specialist/Dim dim sum shop,this kind of restaurant is much more local. Round table,tea pot and newspaper are the main important to enjoy the dim sum. Here you will have more space and more relax time which can even sit over 1-2hours.
Morning tea: 7-11am
Lunch:11am-2:30pm (expensive time)
Bunch:2:30-4:30pm
Of course, weekend would also be more expensive then weekday.
At the morning tea and bunch time,they will have some dishes at another special price list
（特價點心紙）. And these 2 periods are discounted also.
At Mongkok,i would highly recommend this if you read Chinese.(later i will tell why Chinese)
Most of the quality of dim sum is excellent!!
First,you need to order the tea.
Normally, (普洱茶）Pu’erh tea is the most people can be accepted.
The waiter will give you 2 tea pots, 1 is tea and 1 is water. And a glass bowl also.
When you feel the tea is too strong,you can mix with the water.
For the glass bowl,it is for people washing the cup,bowl,chopsticks and the spoon.
Why do we need to wash? It is local traditional habit. The restaurant in the past is very dirty,so people are tend to wash again ourselves until nowadays.
Dim Sum Recommend:
1)蝦餃 Steamed prawn dumplings **
2)燒賣 Steamed Pork&prwan dumplings **
3)叉燒腸粉 Barbecue pork steamed roll **
4)雞扎 Chicken & meat pack **
5)牛肉 Beer ball **
6)流沙包 Creamy and runny egg bun
7)春卷／生菜水餃 Spring roll/Lettuce&dumplings
8)糯米雞 Lotus Leaf Glutinous Rice
9)北菇滑雞飯 Mushroom chicken rice
10)鮮蝦腐皮卷 Shrimp with Beancurd sheet roll
Normally,2 persons can eat 4-5dishes. Going to restuarant would be great if you can find more friends to join,so that you can order more different dishes to share.
Why do recommend this restaurant to the people who read Chinese ONLY?
I used to recommend my guests to visit. And he told me he spent more than $100HKD for himselves with only 3dishes at bunch time. And finally i found that the restuarant is so so bad that they will give the VERY EXPENSIVE English menu for forigeners.
For the dinner after 7PM, the food（小菜） here is also very good with reasonable price under comfortable enironment. Every day they will have some dishes are during promotional. But i am strongly not recommend for hotpot which is expensive, not delicious and not fresh.
I am the one extremely care about the customer service;however,the service here is very poor.Why do i still visit here? I visited so many places for dim sum, like Tao Huang,Chao Inn ... ... the dim sum here is much better i do believe.
MOST MOST important,here's big,so without long long time to queue with good food quality.
Spending per head:
Dim Sum $70 - $100HKD
Dinner $120 - $150HKD
题外话/补充资料：
If foriegners want to visit, please make sure that you have the Chinese character dishes above to order and make sure that you tell the waiter that you only need to local price dishes.

今次叫左5樣野, 最快到嘅係賣飛弗甜簿罉, 雖然我留到最後先食, 但一樣咁正
第2樣係义燒湯米線, 特價$11.8一碗, 唔試番碗真係對唔住自己
第3樣係$10.8有4粒嘅上海小籠包, 賣相唔太討好, 皮簿但頂部蒸唔熟, 味道還可以
第4樣係蟹籽燒賣皇, 尼度嘅燒賣冇佐敦咁大粒, 但就勝在實淨啲又鮮味啲
最後一樣係蒜香蒸肉排, 尼樣係N先生尼餐最欣賞嘅點心, 因為啲肉排好入味而又唔油膩
總括食物質素而言, 尼度確係比佐敦果間金御高, 始終一分錢一分貨
咸魚炒白茶苗($32):細細粒的咸魚幾香，成碟不會太咸，普通炒菜貨色兩個人夠食。
蘿白牛腩煲($4X):我唔係好好牛肉的人，最多食牛扒，見平時都叫金菇肥牛煲多，今日轉下口味先。賣相麻甩，睇落重口味，食落都正常的。牛腩稔，但有D白色脂肪冇切走，而且整塊牛腩唔多，其他都是碎碎的。份量較少。
豆豉蒸倉魚($48):用呢個價錢食到一條蒸魚，夫復何求!腩位同面珠最滑，其他位置都剛好，不會硬身，真係抵食呀!
隻鴨滿佈油光...睇落好正...好吸引
個片皮鴨優惠價好抵食...問過店方...話可以再加
豉油雞湯米線：只賣$9.8，真經濟實惠。豉油雞的骨不多，可謂啖啖肉，肉質嫩滑，沾點薑蔥汁，很美味。米線的味道亦不錯。
上海小籠包：$9.8四隻。由於我太急性子，把一整隻小籠包放進口內，結果舌頭被燙傷了小籠包就是要非常熱才好吃，好。
黃金流沙包：奶皇的確會流出來，味道佳，記得襯熱吃。
薑蔥牛柏葉：牛柏葉很爽口。
鮮竹牛肉球：個人極喜歡吃牛肉球，特別是這種蒸氣如泉湧，連拍照都不能好好對焦的。
總結而言，金御海鮮酒家的點心頗佳，下午茶時段大、中、小點一律六折，價錢合理。
